Among plenty of big launches at this year’ LA Auto Show, Porsche certainly stands out with its amazing 2018 lineup. The German carmaker adds a GTS trim to the 718 Boxster and Cayman, along with showing off the outrageous Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid Sport Turismo and the 911 Carrera T. And finally, the all-new third-gen Cayenne goes next up. It means more power and more performance; Porsche says these models will begin arriving showrooms by the end of the year.
The 718 Cayman and Boxster models will take their starting tags at $90,600 and $93,000 respectively. Among the key updates, there is an enhanced 2.5-liter turbo four-cylinder engine that does get 35hp more boosting the total power to 365hp, and the Sport Chrono Package with faster shifting and launch control coming as the standard option.
Porsche also took the wraps off the powerful plug-in Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid Sport Turismo hybrid, to expand its hybrid range. Combining the mighty 4.0-liter V8 engine with an electric power unit, this muscle wagon kicks out a total output of 680hp along with 627 lb-ft of torque. The most powerful Porsche Panamera ever is priced at a starting $188,400 plus extra $1,050 for destination.
